The exploration sections are okay (although most puzzles in each location can be solved within the location itself) and the shooting sections are surely below Amiga action game standards, but certainly better than the DOS version which doesn't even have scrolling screens. Martian Memorandum solved this but did not show up on Amiga. The real setback is the user interface: you keep typing names and coordinates which must be kept track of with pen and paper, in effect going through the trouble that a good game interface should save you. Gameplay wears a bit out due to the time spent traveling and questioning people on every name heard through the story. The plot, albeit well-written, doesn't have any real coup de theatre, and develops in rather foreseeable ways. It's a nice 'tough cop' story with an interesting post-apocalyptic setting which I believe should have been explored more in depth. ![]()
